1. Cool Water
One of the quickest method to get relief from itching problem is applying cool water on the affected skin. There are many ways to use cool water for getting rid of itchy skin such as running the cool tap water on the affected ares, rubbing the affected area with an ice cube or by simply taking a cool water shower.
Lemon has many healing properties. Not only for itching but it helps the skin in several ways. It is a great source of acetic and citric acids which are known for anesthetic, antiseptic, anti-irritating and anti-inflammatory properties. For using this method, simply take 2 fresh lemons and extract their juice and apply it softly on the affected area with a cotton ball. Let it dry for some time, and rinse it off with lukewarm water.
3. Baking Soda
Baking soda is known for its benefits for the skin. It can soothe your skin quickly because of its anti-inflammatory property. You can use it by adding one cup of baking soda in your bath tub. Now you need to sit in the bathtub for about half an hour. After taking bath, instead of rubbing your skin with towel, pat dry yourself.
